The Project Catalyst Annual Grower Forum, is a highly anticipated event for sugarcane growers from across the three partner regions of the Wet Tropics, Burdekin, and Mackay Whitsunday.

It’s an opportunity to network with researchers, program partners and industry groups, sharing knowledge and discussing new ideas. The forum also allows us to thank Project Catalyst growers for their hard work, dedication, enthusiasm and enquiring minds, without whom there would be no program.

In Cairns the program will include farmers, agricultural leaders, and soil health experts who’ll provide a glimpse of what the future holds to assist you. Ten years on from humble beginnings, the growing Catalyst family celebrates achievements, participants and invites each of you to identify potential candidates to join us in our efforts to improve water quality, increase productivity and be more sustainable for future generations.

An early check-in & Welcome Function will be held Sunday February 24 afternoon from 5pm for those eager to reconnect.

We encourage the participation of new industry sponsors and growers, so please keep an eye on your emails for your official invitation, it holds the unique code to register.

Is accommodation available at the venue?

Contact the Pullman International Group Reservations Team direct by the 20th January 2019 to secure your room at the group rate. Phone: 07 4050 2152 or Email: [email protected] – more information is on your invitation.

What are my parking options?

Please refer to the Cairns Regional Council website for options The Pullman International does offer valet parking for $20 a day. Please contact the venue or ask when you book your accommodation.

What is the Dress Code?

Conference: Smart casual. (The air conditioner will be on, so bring a jacket if you feel the cold.)

Dinner: Theme is FNQ Tropical. ie loudest/brightest shirt or outfit.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, this is not necessary – simply check-in with Joanne at either the Welcome Function on Sunday afternoon or either day at the Conference reception desk.

Is my registration fee or is my ticket transferrable to another person if I am unable to attend?

Please contact Joanne at Catchment Solutions to arrange this.

What’s the refund policy?

Ticket refunds can be made up to 7 days prior to the event.

What are the shirts on offer?

This year we have shirts for sale. Orders for shirts close on the 20th January for delivery at the Forum. There is a couple of different options, all embroidered with the PC logo. Pictures and details, sizes etc are on the registration page.
